Wee Deliver

Pre-K to Second Grade students at Linden Avenue School participated in the Wee Deliver program to improve and strengthen their writing, reading, and communication skills. LAS students created letters and postcards to mail at the Linden Avenue School post office. The LAS mailroom sponsored a stamp design contest, and LAS postal users used the winning stamp. A LAS student mail crew was chosen and outfitted in mail delivery garb to transport mail to each classroom mailbox. Students better understood one of our community services, the postal process, while developing letter-writing skills often forgotten due to computer-generated communications.
