Daily Dos Life Skills Boxes
The ability to complete activities of daily living helps students learn to become independent and autonomous individuals. For our young neuro-divergent learners, what comes naturally to their peers requires specialized instruction and practice. This extends to completing chores and self-care activities.
Daily Dos Life Skill Boxes consist of kits to teach skills such as setting the table, sorting laundry and silverware, putting away the dishes, sweeping up, shoe tying, simple purchases, and phone skills. These kits form the basis of a Life Skills Curriculum that can grow with our young learners. Life Skill Boxes allow our students to practice these skills in a safe environment to help promote confidence and build critical skills for independence.
